Practice your music online! (requires User Name and Password)
Instructions:
A User Name and Password are required
to access the practice files. Please contact Michael
Gibson to obtain the User Name and Password and become
an authorized user.
You will need to download and install a FREE active-x
plug-in program called "Scorch" from Sibelius
software in order to use these practice files. You will
only need to do this the first time you use the practice
files. I have used this software for years with absolutely
no problems. I believe this works for MAC as well as PC.
How to Practice:
You will see the music score with lyrics on the
screen. You will also see a line cursor that scrolls along
as the music plays. Click on the play button at the top,
or just double-click on the first note to position the
cursor (to skip the rests or start in a different location)
and play begins (or press play again). You can change tempo
using the slider (at top). You can use the other tape controls
at the top to stop, pause, or goto another page. You can
also hit the space bar to stop the play.
To practice, click on your part.
Click on All
Parts (SATB) to hear how your part fits in with the
other parts.
