• HAPPY PAINT - This wonderful service group is working through the Summer. Drop in on Tuesdays if you have the time and inclination. There's lots more to do around the church than people to do it. The Happy Paint guys (gals are welcome too!) do more than paint every Tuesday from 10 am to 1 pm or any length of time between. There are plenty of odd (and not-so-odd!) jobs to go around. See George Rose for details.
• BETTER BONES AND BALANCE - Wednesdays and Fridays through July, George Rose and Bob Jones will continue their 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. sessions of gentle but effective excercise to strengthen bones and improve balance! There is a hiatus in August but come September, the sessions will resume. See George Rose or Bob Jones for details.
• FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY: For the months of June and July, we are collecting food for CityTeam Ministries which distributes it to help families in critical need to help them break out of the cycle of poverty. Their most needed food items are: macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, canned fruit, canned tuna, canned chicken, pasta, jelly, canned vegetables, cake mix, cereal and boxed stuffing. Place food in the red food barrels located in the narthex, church office and social hall. Please, NO glass jars or food with expired sell-by or use-by dates! Thank you for your generosity!
• DO YOU HAVE ANY HOUSEHOLD ITEMS YOU’D LIKE TO BUY/SELL/TRADE? Use our Good Neighbor Bulletin Board to let people know! The bulletin board is located in the Social Hall. Person to person, by way of our church bulletin board, is one of the best ways to advertise. Psst! It’s FREE!
