If you thought you knew the story of "The Princess and The Pea," you may be in for a walloping surprise! Did you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that Lady Larken's love for Sir Harry provided a rather compelling reason that she reach the bridal altar post haste? Or that, in fact, it wasn't the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are, you'll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again. | Production dates are August 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31 Auditions will be held in mid-May (date TBA). You can prepare for auditions by beginning to work on the songs. We're using the original script, so be sure that you do NOT purchase a CD or Vocal book for the 1997 revival. Rehearsals: Rehearsals will start early in June. Vacations: We can accommodate up to 3 weeks of vacation, camp, visits to Grandma, and other absence-causing "opportunities", but all planned absences must be over before August 3. As always, everyone who auditions will be cast in the show! | Vocal Book | CD | | |

We're something special... We're about enabling. We don't care how many times you've been told that you can't sing, dance, or can't act. We say, "Yes, you CAN!" And then we follow through by teaching you how! We're inclusive: everyone who auditions for one of our shows is guaranteed a part--always. We're about adults, teens, seniors, and kids having a great time together. There are lots of programs for adults or children or teens or seniors. We're intentional about including everyone--people of all ages and abilities. We're about fellowship: "Getting to Know You" could be our theme song. We love meeting new people and welcoming them into our shows!
