The nursery and preschool classes at PCLG are open 52 weeks a
year.
Babies/Toddlers: We have two dedicated paid nursery attendants
for children under the age of 3. Upon check-in parents are given
a pager so they can be reached during the service in case of emergency.
Threes to Five-Year-Olds: Once children turn three they may join
the pre-school class in room 2. The class includes: an opening/centering
time on the rug, a story or two, a game, a craft project and a
snack. Most Sundays the weather is pleasant enough that the children
are able to play for a while on the modern, lovely playground behind
the preschool wing.
Teachers: We have a team of five teachers and helpers who take
turns leading the lessons and activities.
Heart Tag Security System: We value very highly the safety and
security of our littlest ones. When children are checked into Sunday
school, the responsible adult is given a numbered tag that matches
the tag put on the child. Only the person with that matching tag
may retrieve the child at the end of the program.
