Where Community Takes Root!

A terrific way to get more involved in the PCLG community is joining a small group such as Grove Groups. Grove Groups are a small group of people from PCLG who are near to your age and stage in life and typically consist of a mixture between people who are new to the church and long-time members. We get to know new friends as we explore small chunks of scripture chosen by Pastor Dave or Pastor Erica to spark conversation. We talk about the verse, how it relates to our lives at this moment and how it can lead us to think about our life or faith in a different way. There are a variety of groups, some for couples, some for singles who don’t have a spouse and some where only one spouse would like to attend. The groups are very flexible.

Typically, Grove Groups meet at a member’s house for the lesson and then share a potluck meal together. We typically have 3-4 lessons in the Spring spread out from February to June depending on the dates and times your group decides. They’re a wonderful way to experience a small group Bible study, get to know some other PCLG members and have some fun!

Join a Grove Group—they’re where community takes root! For more information or to let us know you’re interested, you can talk with Pastor Dave, Pastor Erica, or contact Dave Heacock (Elder for Small Groups) by e-mail at grovegroups@pclg.org.
