Since early 2010, PCLG has been in transition between called pastors.  During that time, we have had the pleasure of having our Interim Pastor/Head of Staff, Dr. Bob Bowles leading the congregation.  Bob’s service to PCLG will be completed on March 31, 2012.  We will bid a formal farewell to Bob and his wife Margie on March 25, 2012, with a reception following worship.  It will be an exciting time to celebrate Bob’s ministry at PCLG and to express our appreciation for the contributions both he and Margie have made.  We will miss them!

"Sunday worship at PCLG is orderly (as you would expect from Presbyterians) but leaves plenty of room for God's surprises. Our worship style is traditional trending toward blended. We sing from the "Presbyterian Hymnal", the "Gather" Hymnal (GIA), and "Sing the Faith", which is the Presbyterian contemporary hymn supplement. We are also blest with other musical resources including an excellent pipe organ, chancel and children's choirs, two bell choirs, a brass ensemble and chancel strings. Our youth with guitars and banjos lead worship several times each year. We sing, we pray, and we listen together for the living Word of God.

What we seek in worship is to be authentic and grateful in our response to God. This is a journey into trust and faith as we seek to follow Jesus. Often there is laughter, and sometimes there are tears. We invite you to join us in this journey."

On the evening of February 11, PCLG families and friends came out to showcase their many talents. There were performers from 8 - 84-years olds showing off their God given talent.
