The mission of the San Jose Family Shelter is to “provide shelter and supportive services to homeless families in Santa Clara County."

"To empower them to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency in our community." Family Supportive Housing serves intact families and single parents with children, providing private family rooms and three meals a day as well as other services to these families.  For more information see http://www.sjfamilyshelter.org/.

PCLG Involvement

Our church contributed a sizeable amount toward the building of the new San Jose Family Shelter, a project of Family Supportive Services.  We recently prepared a meal for the residents of the old Family Shelter, and plan to continue our service to them through providing meals and having them as one of the recipients of our weekly Food for the Hungry collection.  Contact the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
