Presbyterian Women: Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos

Potluck suppers in June, July, and August.

This summer, Circle 4 will host a potluck supper in the Redwood Grove starting at 5:30 pm every third Thursday evening in June, July, and August. Bring your own table service and a dish to share. This is open to any woman in the congregation who would enjoy fellowship with others in the beautiful grove of redwoods on our church property.

What Do PW Women Do?

Presbyterian Women logo The symbol of the circle and three women represent what we are all about. The open circle to show that we come together as women but are open to receive new members and interested in reaching out to others. The center figure represents the Cross of Christ and a joyous figure praising God. The figure on the right has a book for our time spent in study of the Scriptures. The figure to the left offers a loaf or offering which tells of time spent in caring for others, nurturing, healing and sharing our gifts. Transforming symbolism to everyday life you will find women who:

Create layettes for the Sophia's Layette project. Layettes are given to needy families in Santa Clara County.
Provide luncheons at Commercial Street outreach program.
Gather contributions for San Francisco Theological Seminary.
Support F.I.R.M., the Fresno Interfaith Refugee Mission program.
Sponsor camperships and women's study programs.
Donate funds to local and worldwide missions.
Celebrate one another and our local church family.

Our programs are held in the church Social Hall and cover a variety of interesting topics. These programs are intended for current members and those who are interested in PW. Gatherings are meetings of all the Presbyterian Women's groups in the Presbytery. Please join us.
