| The Shoestring Theatre
Company of PCLG produces quality recreational, secular,
family-oriented amateur productions of major plays and
musicals at the Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos. Production
casts, crews, musicians, and technicians are drawn from
PCLG and the surrounding community and are intended to
span a broad range of ages.
Membership in the Shoestring Theatre Company
of PCLG is not limited to members of the Presbyterian Church
of Los Gatos. We welcome all members of the PCLG community
(church members, friends, family, and residents of the
surrounding neighborhoods). |

If you thought you knew the story of "The Princess
and The Pea," you may be in for a walloping surprise!
Did you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually
swam the moatto reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that
Lady Larken's love for Sir Harry provided a rather compelling
reason that she reach the bridal altar post haste? Or that,
in fact, it wasn't the pea at all that caused the princess
a sleepless night?
Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious
and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin
on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance
provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are,
you'll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again.

Vacations: We can accommodate up to 3 weeks of vacation,
camp, visits to Grandma, and other absence-causing "opportunities",
but all planned absences must be over before August 3.
