Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
Weddings celebrate a covenant in which couples are called to live out together their lives of discipleship before God. In a Christian marriage ceremony, a lifelong commitment is made, publicly witnessed and acknowledged by the community of faith. The Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos is delighted you are considering our church for your wedding ceremony. We consider it a privilege to use our sanctuary for weddings, including Christian ceremonies for non-members.
The PCLG sanctuary is a beautiful place of worship. The soaring wood-paneled ceiling and spectacular stained glass windows are impressive. This reverent ambiance makes your wedding feel intimate and personal. The sanctuary pews can accommodate both small and large weddings—up to 450 seated guests.
Our Möller pipe organ was installed in 1958, and was extensively renovated in 2005. The sound is dramatic, and adds a tremendous depth to your music selections. If scheduling permits, one of our talented staff organists can be available for the ceremony.
The church is equipped with a digital sound system, complete with earpiece, handheld, and standing wireless microphones. Our Wedding Coordinator will help you determine what is necessary.
To check availability of the sanctuary, please click here. We only schedule one wedding per day, so you will not feel rushed on such a special occasion.
Please contact our Wedding Coordinator, Gene Caselli, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (408) 289-8811 to arrange a tour of the sanctuary, changing rooms and garden – or come to a 10 a.m. Sunday service and see the setting, hear the acoustics and envision it set up for the day of your wedding!
To initiate reserving the sanctuary, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Reserve Your Wedding Date
Please contact our Wedding Coordinator for church availability and pricing.
Step 2: Meet with the Wedding Coordinator
As your hostess, the Wedding Coordinator will serve as a resource for your wedding. You will be given a tour of the sanctuary and available rooms. She can answer any questions you may have concerning church procedures, protocol, and wedding etiquette. She will help you coordinate your planning and organize the rehearsal so you can be assured nothing will be forgotten and everything will run smoothly the day of the service. The Wedding Coordinator will be in attendance at the rehearsal and wedding ceremony held at the church.
Step 3: Send Deposit and Form
After meeting with the Wedding Coordinator, you will submit a reservation form, along with a $1300 deposit. You will receive confirmation very quickly to secure your wedding date.
Step 4: Coordinate with Organist
The Wedding Coordinator will arrange booking of one of the three staff organists (if available). All soloists and instrumentalists must be coordinated through the Wedding Coordinator. Music selections will be coordinated between the couple and the organist.
The rehearsal date is usually the day before the wedding. The rehearsal time will be at 5:00 p.m. unless scheduled differently with the Wedding Coordinator. The church will be available two hours before the wedding service and one hour following the service.
