Students earn National Merit recognition
“Of the 1.4 million students who took the National Merit program preliminary SAT/
National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, only 16,000 have qualified as semifinalists—the
highest-scoring students in each state.
“Los Gatos High School students earning semifinalist status in the 2008 Merit Scholarship
Competition include Eli Burnham*, Sarah Collonge, Breanna Denicola, Kelly Foster, Adam
Huggins, Lindsay Olsen, Jessica Osterhout, Arun Prasad and Sara Silberstein.”
