About the event
Walking the labyrinth is ancient Christian meditative practice rediscovered in the 12th century at the Cathedral of Chartres in France. One walks a winding path toward the center symbolizing a person’s spiritual journey with God. In our pressured, frantic-paced life this walking meditation provides an opportunity to slow down and experience God being “with us” in the journey of life. Join us for a tour of Grace Cathedral in San Francisco and experience walking their labyrinth, which is modeled after the Chartres labyrinth. For those interested, we will coordinate carpools and lunch afterwards. Fee is $20. To pay please write a check or pay with cash and drop off to the church office.
